During roughly the same time period, the American Medical Association was clearly in the hands of the monied interests of big medicine and was on a rampage against virtually any and all alternative treatments. Perhaps no one had a greater bias and influence than a criminal who called himself Dr Maurice Fishbein but whose medical credentials were false. Fishbein served as Secretary, Vice-President and finally President(Fishbein's dictatorial control of American medicine finally ended when he was kicked out at the AMA Convention in Atlantic City on 6 June 1949.)
