hey... well i only take 1000mcg...it seems its different stroke for different folks.
a friend of mine take 10,000mcg (10mg!) and her hair grows at the same rate as mine.
i would say you can safely use upto 10mg, but no more than that!
5mg make my hair grow too thick too fast..it grew outwards not downwards, so i went back to 1000mcg (1mg).
try taking biotin with b50 complex...together.
i take both together
and a good multi also flaxseed oil (1 tablespoon) a night...
rub your scalp with rosemary and jojoba oil...every 3 days or so...to stimulate the follicles...
it could be a thyroid problem, if you have hair issues.
i recommend
Iodine (sea kelp) to amend this...you will know if you are slightly underweight or overwieght, if you have throid probs (or your doc can test if you do)...
