Matt Damon severely damaged his adrenal glands by losing weight too fast...

I was watching the E true Hollywood story on Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Matt had to lose weight for a role and lost 40 pounds in about 100 days I think. By doing this he did serious damage to his adrenal glands and had to take medicine for 2 years.

First I am wondering does anyone know about this story and what it is his doctor prescribed?

Second it's very reassuring to know that he got better. He seems to lead a life that most adrenal exhausted sufferers could only wish for.
