I went to Hotze Health and Wellness Center in Houston

I just did a search in this forum for 'Hotze Health and Wellness'...granted the posts mentioning it were several years ago. I wanted to post anyway. It looked like no one had been a patient yet. :) I will be the guinea pig for the group! I went to see them a few weeks ago... I have been a VERY sick girl, getting progressively worse over the past 7 years. Have wasted thousands of dollars trying conventional means...

How did I learn about them? I saw an ad in an airline mag over Christmas break and the ad could have been written by me. Maybe even by all of us. When you are so chronically sick, at times you're just ready to throw in the towel...I was at that point, when in late March 07, Dr. Hotze's Health and Wellness Clinic was thrown in my lap two MORE times. At this point I was desperate enough to call...they do free phone consultations. They sent me a free copy of Dr. Hotze's book (they will do the same for you) and I cried through the first two chapters...THIS doctor GETS IT!!! And on their website under the 'test yourself' area, there are about 7-8 quizzes...I scored at least 20 points higher than the high end. Hormone quizzes, thyroid, candida...etc.. After a few heated dicussions with hubby, I said...I don't think you get how sick I feel every day - I am ready for God to call me home. With that, hubby said...go see Hotze. I made an appointment and was pleased and calm with it all. I know in my gut this is the place to heal me. They did several hours worth of tests...the results will be back next week. I worked with Dr. Ellsworth and when he walked in the room to introduce himself..I said...you are the 14th doctor I have been to about all of this and you WILL BE THE LAST! But I left the office with a load of stuff to go ahead and start...including FIVE HORMONES which I have begged for from 12 previous docs!!!! I was already noticing a different by the next day! My first night of restful sleep in 2 years! YIPPEE!! I was able to wear high heels again (pain free) in the first week after 2 years! THIS IS GREAT! Then the hard part...I started my yeast free, nothing white (sugar, bread, pasta...) 30 day diet. I am on an antifungal and megadolphlus (sp?)...If my blood tests show higher levels of yeast in my blood the doc may extend me to 60 days...90... who knows... all I know is THIS is the first doctor who GETS IT! I will follow his instructions to a tee...Yes, it's not covered by insurance but when you read the book to understand WHY...you too...will be glad that you have some medical freedom to choose to see doctors like Hotze. Everyone I came in contact with there...started as a patient and now works there. They ALL have does the yeast free diet. They know tips to help me and others be successful. I got a handy little cookbook and other resources...When I met with the pharmacist to discuss my bio-identical hormones she said...I understand you are on an herbal antidepressant. I said yes. She said..well, say your parting words with it...I was on 3 antidepressants when I came here, we got my hormones balanced and I am not on any of them! Happens everyday! :)

I so admire those of you doing this on your own...I get so overwhelmed. I am glad to have someone say...this is what you need, this is when you do it...blah, blah, blah...
