i think i knew someone who used something like a lemon juice/ yogurt mixture for age spots. maybe it would help with the brown spot on your face but i have no experience with this. maybe you could do some research on that if you are looking for something natural.

one thing i know that is very healing and is used for scar treatments, especially early on, is EMU oil. since this is very recent, i would apply this every night before bed if i were you. EMU oil is kinda expensive but you don't need much.


i also wouldn't worry too much if i were you because the face has so much collagen in it that scars heal much better in this area than anywhere else on our body. my friend has skin cancer on her cheek, and had to get it surgically removed. she now has a BARELY noticable line and it was once a very pink slice down her cheek.

your face will heal as time passes. there are others on here using Iodine for scar treatments and having major success. uny's husband is using it for a severely scarred penis...he had a motorcycle accident and wound up scarred for life (so he thought!!) with major loss of sensitivity. by applying the Lugol's topically his scar is literally shedding away and he is experiencing nerve regeneration too. i think i should clarify that he always had feeling, but had lost a lot of sensitivity (that men should have!!) in that area. he is seeing major improvements. uny herself is also healing a skin condition she has with the lugols. you should ask her for advice or let her elaborate more on her story. unfortunately that post is probably gone since half the forum pages are missing right now.

wish i could be of more help but i don't personally have experience with scar treatment although i am gonna try to heal some scars with Iodine soon. Tweet
