O/T ? : Brain Tuner for Dog with Stroke Symptoms?

Our wonderful Golden, Ruffy appears to have had a stroke sometime the night before last. I gave him Cellfood and Seacure yesterday, and last night we took him to our holistic vet who put him on a drip with B vitamins, gave him a cortisone shot, and catheterized him, since he hadn't peed all day. He seems better today but still isn't getting up or standing on his own.
I read somewhere that CES has been used for post-stroke symptoms with success, and I was wondering 1) could I try it on him, and 2) if I can, which setting of the Brain tuner would be best? We are also going to try Vinpocetine on him.
Also, if anyone knows of other forums where I could post this, please let me know. We have had Ruffy for 9 years, and flew him over with us when we moved from the States to Spain. Our 13 yr. old daughter literally grew up with him, and we want to try everything we can to make what's left of his life as comfortable and happy for him as we can.
