Permanent partial blindness?

I experienced trauma to my eye almost 2 weeks ago. I went through a black eye, and everything looks normal now, but I am experiencing blurry vision in the eye. I saw an optometrist and opthamologist who both said my eye was structurally fine. The opthamologist said something about a bruse at the back of the eye might be the cause, and that with time it will heal and I will be fine. That was almost a week ago and its still the same. I am going through consistent headaches, i assume because of the blurriness. What's wrong with my eye!? Is this permanent? Is there any logical explanation for this, ie: brain damage?
