Re: Pituitary Tumor-inoperable
Can't tell you how she got it. Believe about 1 in 5 people have one but most don't know, which is rather scary especially for women who get
Breast Cancer and have high prolactin from it. Any woman with
Breast Cancer or suspected
Breast Cancer should ask her doctor to check out her prolactin, and read comments about that from the University of Pennsylvania.
You might also want to search the web for words such as SV40 Monkey virus, "Red drop on
Sugar for polio shots" etc. Of course if these articles were true, no government would ever admit it for fear of lawsuits.
I don't think
Cell Phone s are the best to hold next to her head either. Of course, all kinds of studies (esp. by
Cell Phone companies and companies that back them) show that they aren't dangerous, but think again. The possibility seems quite likely that the other 50% of the studies counteracting that are true.
The trouble with the darn tumours is that once people start taking some kinds of medicine for them they can never ever stop again for the rest of their lives, or the tumour will grow again as soon as they quit. So lots of doctors simply just let them grow and hope the person will die of natural old age before they grow blind or develop things like Cushings or Addisons or other things.
Most of the people who have them do die of natural old age without the tumour advancing very far but it is good to have the size checked out every few years.
Tell her to make sure she asks for a "copy" of her last MRI report so she can compare the growth each time because doctors don't always notice the change in size from one year compared to five years earlier, so she needs to pay attention to her own health. She also needs to pay attention to things like vision problems headaches, and so on.
