Re: Dr. Max Gerson/Iodine in cure of advanced cancer

I read the big long article that the link connected me to. I found it VERY interesting. I did note that Dr. Gerson used Iodine differently than most of us aare doing here. He had the patients take a lower dose of iodine, but they took that same lower dose of Iodine 6 times a day, rather than taking the Iodine just once or twice a day like most of us are doing. Overall, the people were consuming 18 drops a day, which is a lot. I wonder if those of us experiencing detox symptoms would see less symptoms if we divided our daily iodine quota into 6 doses.

I came to the conclusion that all the potassium he prescribed was needed for reabsorption of large tumors. So, most of us probably don't need large doses of postssium. Sodium seems to cause the tumors to swell (or at least not shrink fast) and that is why he eliminated the sodium. Also, the talk was given in 1956, BEFORE the onslaught of bromine in our food supple, so if he were alive today, he might adjust the formula to deal with bromine.

Bottom line is detox, detox, detox. Keep your liver HEALTHY!!!!! Your life (and the quality of your life) depends on it. Tweet
