One danger of DMSO is that it will desolve some plastics. DMSO is often stored in special plastic bottles that will not desolve. On the bottom of the plastic bottle is a number that shows the type of plastic. Usually a 2 for DMSO.

Make sure that your nebulizer will not desolve with DMSO by putting full strengh DMSO in it for 24 or so hours. DMSO will drag anything it desolves into your body including plastics or fabrics which can be harmful. Tweet
