My husband had an infected, ingrown toenail. I told him to soak it in hot water with Epsom Salts . After that, he applied castor oil by soaking a cotton ball in CO and taping it to his toenail area with a bandaid. Today the infection is gone! No more throbbing, no redness, no pain.
