Becuase if u try to peel them when they are dry you will aggrivate the new skin so that will just crust up quicker. I have tried to leave my lips alone for 2 1/2 years and only peel them when they are ready to peel, perhaps going 2 or maybe 3 weeks at a time without touching them. My lips are better but it's a slow process and i have had no social life at all. I am now using this Eucerin stuff and beeswax to just manage the condition becuase I want my life back, the Eucerin is defo making a difference.

So for all those people who say leaving lips alone was a big mistake, now you have heard it from a proffesional that it's the best thing to do. Tweet
