Re: Something that has worked for me

I don't find the bean paste to be too abrasive on the skin - i have oily/combination fair skin and am prone to rashes etc, which i don't get with using the aduki bean paste. Because it has very fine grains in the powder , it exfoliates well and for me, removes any oily residue.

It depends on how oily your skin is. I have made a batch for some friends to try so i can get a better idea what type of skin it is suited for. I'll let you know how they get on :-)

I don't know if it will remove make-up. I only use mineral powder make-up which is brilliant for Acne prone skin. Don't buy commercial brand mineral make-up....i get mine from a woman in Ireland who trades on ebay.co.uk 'naturalmineralcosmetics' i think is her i.d on there. She makes them home-made without toxic additives that commercial mineral brands use. Her shop is here:

If you do use conventional foundation as make-up, and you find the aduki bean paste does not remove this then you could use a cleanser you know doesn't cause breakouts then finish off with the aduki bean paste :-)
