New AC CS gen. report...

Just made my first 5 gallon batch of CS with a generator made by Terry Chamberlain. It is a very simple design. Basically a box with an on/off switch LED indicator, a resistor, fuse, heavy duty 3 prong plug for AC, five sets of wires coming off the box,silver positive electrodes and steel negative electrodes. I kind of laughed to myself, how is this going to make better CS than my Silvergen/Silverpuppy? But low and behold it pumped out a Crystal C. batch of CS in about 5 hours. If I use a 1/4 starter CS it will take about an hour next time. I use (5) 1gal mason jars. I tested the first batch with a Hanna PWT and measured about 12ppm. This is a great CS gen. for anyone who needs to make large quantities of CS. Cost is $300. Whether the coming flu pandemic is gov. generated or real, this is a good device to have as you can provide CS for many people. You do need to use more care since it is AC power but it works great and is very cost effective.
