That may be a good descript of why the first 3-4 days are historically the toughest for many if not most.

I also believe that part of the symptoms arise from a shock to the system, thus breaking down the immune tolerance of your bod. This is flu season.

On two occasions I experienced a cold in the first 3 days as well, each occurance
I was surrounded by people with the flu.
