I Had an NDE...Without the ND

I experienced a classical nde while watching the Perseids in August, 2004. It is a long, exceedingly odd story; but here is the abridged version:

I was a practicing defense attorney...completely agnostic. I was standing in my front yard and was suddenly surrounded by thousands of beautiful balls of light.

At first I thought that I was hallucinating (which would have been a first); but then I saw that the light orbs were literally illuminating my very dark yard and outbuildings. It looked like thousands of unseen children playing with flashlights.

I realized without hesitation -I just knew- that I was in the presence of God and said ,no kidding: "Man, are you ever lost" and "You've got the wrong girl" and other things of that general nature TO GOD because I was totally taken by surprise...and sHe was showering me, enveloping me with pure love.

I felt ashamed of myself for many, many things and told God that I was not worthy of the love sHe was giving...I told God that sHe didn't realize how bad I really am, and God said:

"I created you...I am you."

God also told me where I had come from and where I would return to. And sHe showed me such tender mercy and loving adoration. I will go into detail in other posts.

There's a LOT more to this but I am new to this forum and want to make sure I am not just talking to myself; but please, please know that nde's are NOT just a product of the brain...unless my brain has the power to physically illuminate almost an acre. :)
