Considerations for heavy metal detoxing with Iodine?
Have noticed that it is being mentioned frequently that supplementing one's daily routine with
Iodine will help with pushing heavy metals out of the body. This in turn put me to mind to my own experience of doign dental cleanup (all
Amalgams removed) as part of preparation for first ever
Liver Flush about 2 years ago. Most of you are probably aware that it is generally advised to not concentrate on chelating heavy metals from one's body while there are still relatively permanent sources of heavy metal in the body - like mercury
Amalgams filling one's teeth. This tends to redistribute mercury througout the body, which ultimately makes one's mercury problem/load worse than it was before, can cause all kinds of new problems, brain fog, chronic fatigue-like symptoms, etc.
The question then is - is it a bad idea to start an
Iodine protocol, even a very conservative one, if there are still mercury
Amalgams in one's teeth?
