The reason that there isn't a so-called "cure" for herpes from any of these "Quack" machines, is that it a DNA virus that actually becomes part of the DNA of the cell that it infects. You can't just snip out a piece of the cell's DNA. Well, not without killing the cell.

The antiviral meds that we have today contains a compound that interferes with the replication process of the virus. It doesn't kill the cell, but it prevents the virus from activating easily. The virus isn't removed and it's not a "cure".
