I am 34 years old and was diagnosed with Adenomiosis a form of Endo. in 2005. With it the endo. tissue thickens the walls of the uterus until you began to look preg. When the IUD was placed my uterus was the size of an 11 week preg. The IUD was put in to stop me from having a period and stop the uterus lining from getting thicker. My Acne which I have had since a teenager has gotten better but the other things that are going on are of great concern. My son is 13 and as he is getting a new mustache so is mommy. Not to mention hairs that are growing wildy in all the other places on my body. I don't have any depression. Before I had it placed everyone always commented on how young I look and how well I have held up compaired to others our age but now I have LARGE bags under my eyes and starting to get wrinkles very quickly. I have a lot of trouble sleeping now, my mouth and throat are dry all the time. I wake up over and over needing water at night. After it took so long just to fall asleep. I've gained a lot of weight and can't loss it. My muscles are always sore. I can't remember things, I drive around and can't remember where I was going, when the kids remind me I don't remember what I was going there for. I don't know what to do because I need it to keep my uterus from growing larger and to keep from having the horrible bleeding and blood clots and pain that comes with it.But the side effects are just about as bad.
