The most plausible conspiracy theory I've read states that building 7 contained two vital pieces of evidence: gold on pallets in the basement, that was spirited away while the world's attention was focused on the twin towers, and incriminating documents in justice department "pending" files that could have been used to prosecute the neocon traitors behind 9-11. This theory meshes nicely with the Pentagon part of the puzzle, since that part of the Pentagon contained documentary evidence that dual citizen Dov Zakheim stole two trillion dollars for his neocon co-conspirators in the bandit state of Israel. How and why did building 7 collapse?
