Calcium hydroxide, pickling lime drink causes HEART DISEASE

... and reduces Iodide motility, by its proven detrimental effect on blood zeta potential.

Those who drink calcium hydroxide (pickling lime) may be destroying the zeta potantial of their blood. Plain and simple, proven physical chemistry. 2:1 electrolytes are coagulating.

First, two items:

"Human beings cannot absorb minerals satisfactorily from inorganic chemicals." - Weston A. Price, from Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, page 294, lines 10-11.

and this, from the Mayo Clinic, where they scan the heart for calcium to determine heart attack risk.

"Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the most common form of heart disease in industrialized nations and is far and away the leading cause of heart attacks. Coronary artery disease occurs as plaques clog, or narrow, your arteries (atherosclerosis). The plaques are made of fat, cholesterol and calcium. It's the calcium in those plaques that the heart scans can detect."

When calcium is present in its natural forms, there is no problem. But when people supplement with mineral salts, such as calcium hydroxide and calcium carbonate, ("pickling lime") etc., the body does not recognize them as food.

If what Dr. Price said was right, these minerals are not absorbed. Rather, they clog up the arteries by being precipitated with cholesterol in the form of arterial plaque.

Calcium hydroxide is a 2:1 electrolyte. It causes co-agulation of the blood, as proven by Thomas Riddick fifty years ago. I did not write this, and I am not making this up.

For those who do not believe this, contact Dr. T.C. McDaniel , MD in Cincinnati, he is 97 years old and still practicing medicine ! His number is (513) 761 3307. Just ask him or his staff if drinking a solution of a 2:1 electrolyte, such as Calcium hydroxide or pickling lime, has a good or a bad effect on the dispersing properties of the blood. If you read Riddick's chapter 22 in the link above, you will understand why this is so, for yourself.

Those who drink calcium hydroxide are destroying the zeta potantial of their blood. Plain and simple, proven physical chemistry. 2:1 electrolytes are coagulating. End of story.

Drinking pickling lime contributes to intravascular coagulation and heart disease. Of this I am absolutely convinced.

I therefore concur with Riddick and McDaniel, that drinking calcium hydroxide is likely to lead to cardiovascular disease and should be absolutely avoided.
