Re: DIGESTION OF FOOD PROBLEM

Hi,

I had the same problem, with even lots of undigested food in my stool. I had all the signs of malnourishment even though I ate a lot. I read the book "Healing with Whole Foods" by Paul Pitchford. My problems are gone. What I did ? Proper food combining i.e. no proteins and carbs like potatoes, white rice, bread together in 1 meal. Eat fruits alone. You should find enough info on the web on that. The next step was eating more cooked foods that nourish the spleen such as : oats, spelt, sweet rice and pounded sweet rice (mochi), winter squash, carrot, parsnip, turnip, garbanzo beans, black beans, peas, sweet potato, yam, pumpkin, onion, leek, garlic, black pepper, ginger, cinnamon, fennel, nutmeg and small amount of mackarel, tuna, halibut, anchovy, beef, beef liver or kidney, chicken, turkey of lamb prepared in a soup or congee. Butter is the only recommended dairy product. Chew your food well. On top of that I take a good enzyme and probiotic supplement. The best thing to do is buying the book, lots of good usefull and effective information that helped me a lot.

My best,

Luigi
