Encourager...February..Just For Fun

JUST FOR FUN…TO LIFT YOU UP!!!
Because we all need a little more laughter in our lives!!!
VALENTINE’S DAY DREAM
Valentines Day was rapidly approaching and an older couple
had long ago, settled into the ho hum routine of married life.
But the wife longed for something special for Valentine’s Day
like she had received so many years before. She knew her husband
loved her, and probably just didn’t think to do things like that
anymore, so at breakfast on the morning of Valentine’s Day,
She said, “George, I had the oddest dream last night…I dreamed
you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine’s Day. What do you
think that dream means?” “You’ll know tonight!” George replied.
That evening, George came home carrying a small sack and gave
it to his wife. Delighted and with great anticipation, she opened
the sack to find a book entitled. “The Meaning Of Dreams”.
A FOOL IN LOVE
After a lengthly quarrel, a frustrated husband said to his wife,
“You know…I was a real fool when I married you!” “Yes I know
that now, dear,” said the wife. But at the time, I was in love and
didn’t notice.”
HAPPILY EVER AFTER
Once upon a time, a beautiful princess happened upon a frog in a
pond. The frog said to the princess, “I was once a handsome prince
until I ran into a streak of bad luck and was made into a frog. But
if you’ll give me one little kiss, I will turn back into a prince, we can
be married, move into my mothers castle, you can prepare all my
meals, clean my clothes, clean my castle and bear all my children.”
That night, while the princess dined on frog legs… she kept laughing
And saying to herself, “I don’t THINK so!”
WHERE ARE WE?
A man and his wife were on vacation and were nearing a town spelled
Kissimee. They noted the strange spelling and tried to figure out how
to pronounce it. KISS-a-me; kis-A-me; kis-a-ME. They grew more
perplexed as they drove into town.
It was lunch time, and they pulled into a place to get something to eat.
After the husband ordered, he said to the waitress, “My wife and I
were trying to figure out how to pronounce this place. Will you tell
us where we are, and speak slowly please?” The waitress looked at
him and said, “Buuurrrgerrr Kiiiinnnnng”.
CHILDRENS DEFINITIONS OF LOVE
“Love is what makes you smile when you’re tired.” (Terry, age 4)
“Love is what’s in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening
presents and listen.” (Bobby, age 7) (WOW)
“Anyone who wants to learn to love better, should start with a friend
they hate” (Nikka, 6)
“There are 2 kinds of love. Our love and God’s love. But God makes
both of them…so they’re both good.” (Jenny 8)
