Yep! True! ALSO - pork Tapeworms live in the muscle tissue of hogs. When they infect humans - they get confused as to where to go to live - so they go straight to the head area. The eggs of pork Tapeworm can live in an "incubating" state for up to 20 YEARS before they hatch out and begin their life cycles. This is why a lot of folks who have not eaten pork in YEARS and YEARS can have pork Tapeworm infections.

These infections can be fatal because they can get to the point where they create lesions on the brain itself.
