When you purchase a cold pressed oil and take it home, do you immediately put it in the refrigerator? Whether still factory-sealed or open, ALL cold-pressed oils should be refrigerated. It has amazed me that we can find cold-pressed flaxseed oil in a dark brown bottle (usually plastic, though) in the healthfood store refrigerator, but just about every other cold-pressed oil is in a clear bottle on the shelf under 'bright' lights. Eden Foods says it uses a "nitrogen flushed bottled in amber glass to protect the aroma, flavor, and valuable nutrients."
