I just heard about this. The few times in my life that I have come into contact with 120 volt alternating current, I only felt a strong tingling throughout my body and quickly pulled away. I always heard that AC has devestating paralying effects and freezes a person's nerves in place. I used to be a delivery driver, I never had a problem with static, I guess some people are more sensitive (maybe the body's inefficient use of electrolytes?).
