I would 30-60 min would be enough to get 5-10ppm. I would just stir slightly enough to make the floaties fall into the cs then wait minute or two and decant. It is normal for bubbles to form on the electrode that is turning black as well. I usually get a little film on top as well. Again just stir a little , let it settle to the bottom and pour off the rest into a jar or glass for storage or consumption.
