Pelvic Pain, CA 125

Dr. Jeff,

Since September of 06 I have had some recurring pain in the stomach and pelvic areas. This first began as lower right. The first time it was excruciating sharp pains and followed by pain in the mid stomach just above the pelvic area. For 2 days I continued to feel heavy there and very tender. For instance just walking and movement hurt. I had this same pain again a month later. I then went to the doctor. He said it seemed like my uterus was enlarged and that it felt "bumpy". I followed up with an ultrasound that showed a right sided ovarian cyst about 2 cm. The gyn also did a CA 125 that came out to a 35. About a month later i followed up with another CA125 and it was elevated to 108. My doctor wanted to remove the cyst, but I did not want to have the surgery. I understand that many factors can elevate the CA125. Anyway... I have been doing pretty well with no more episodes of excruciating pain, however my periods seem heavier than usual and I suffer more cramping... like the first 3-4 days, whereas it used to be just the first couple days. Also I noticed some spotting last week. It was not time for my cycle. I had worked out at the gym prior to that and after doing cardio I felt a little pelvic discomfort. Last night I was having pain again on my right pelvic side and today I have felt bloated again with the same tenderness/discomfort in the lower middle pelvic region. I am scheduled to see a doctor again on Wed. If an Ovarian cyst is the root cause of this issue is there anything you could recommend to help break it down or dissolve it? Any other advice on what might be occuring?
