Is the water you use for tea boiling or near there? Of course tea is not
What do you mean everything is destroyed at 48 degrees? I suppose you mean Celsius enzyme content is lost when food is cooked but it takes a while to get there.

though vitamin and mineral content is pretty much preserved dependent on cooking time.

drinking tea is up to you, just like choosing to eat raw or not, you always have the choice
