Re: My husband is diagnosed with GOUT...ANY REMEDIES?

Hi #40679

Ev gave you good advice.
Here is the reason why Ev suggested cherries.

Gout occurs when an excessive amount of uric acid in the blood, tissues and urine crystallizes in the joints.
Cherries have an enzyme that neutralizes uric acid and are high in anthocyanins which have high antioxidant properties as well as anti-inflammatory action. For the best effectiveness eat them between meals.
Fresh cherries are better but if you can't find fresh cherries, you can use frozen and canned cherries.
If you use frozen or canned cherries you will have to eat a lot more of them.
