what the heck is wrongwith me?

my symptoms sudden inredibly annoying tickle /block in the back of my throat..desprately want to cough it up but stays there ...usually followed by occlusion of my airway m,aking it very hard to breath my increasing desperation and coughing fit proves to be futile as almost always i am unable to expectorate.. also followed by an acute ..temporary case of Laryngitis sometimes leaving me almost totally unable to speak. just when i feel like crying all of the sudden i WILL COUGH UP Ahard .large dark colored chunk of stuff instantly i am able to breathe and speak.what bothers me besides the obvious about this "condition"is that 1. ihave never had expectorate even during my worst chest colds that is like this stuff
2.the difficulty coughing something up that is not even in my chest but actually is so close right behing my tonsils and three the fact that it is so hard and dark colored and that the chunk is large enough to render me unable to breathe. the same thing happened last winter as well.. i am not sick right now with a cold or anything like that and im so sick of being uncomfortabe periodically all day long. here is a pic of one of chink.. sometimes they are even bigger than this one.
