As disconcerting as your post was this made me laugh...

I have six ear piercings from the late 60's and 70's... and wore 10 inch feathers in them... I used to get asked where I was from and I would answer "not this planet".

I have since let them close up... I have not tried to put anything in them for over 15 years now. I guess I was one of the original pin cushions here in the states.
