Re: Any suggestions??
I used to suffer from primary
the above poster is correct in that it is a great likelihood that the bodies alkaline reserve system is depleted. Build this up over time by making serious diet changes. It will take a while if depleted.
Meanwhile make a decision on the substances people shall peddle to you to ingest magnesium and calcium works well as these greatly regulate peripheral nerve health and will help control the pain of the numbness. Magnesium is deficient in the common person, for you it is most likely depleted, so it may cause immediate relief at times and your body will soak it up.
Epsom Salt even helps, alka selzer gold helped me temporarily, do what feels comfortable to you just alkalinize with your diet. It may take years, (it took years to deplete) so in the meantime use a supplement if you must. I view the supplements as providing some immediate relief though they do not all seem to be as effective as diet after a while.
What FF suggested should be added anything that helps circulation will help gingko, cayenne, hawthorn, vinpocetine deficient fatty acids may also likely be a culprit flax oil should be the best among others. As a vegetarian I was eating way to much starch and gluten so eliminating the glue formoing foods will increase circulation.
hmmm I believe their is a correlation with mitral valve prolapse this may manifest as anxiety or panic attacks when lying down due to insufficient circulation. The magnesium and potassium salts may be very low in this case. Supplementation with large doses helped clear this up with me and my sister. Hawthorn will help for this.
