She was NOT taking Colloidal Silver . She was taking silver nitrate nose drops for years which contained large particles of silver that could build up in the skin tissues. Colloidal Silver contains ions and atoms of silver that pass through skin membranes , is easily excreted in days through the normal channels, does not buil up in the tissues the way silver compounds do, and contains ionic silver that is typically on the order of 5-30ppm, very low.
