Re: endo

Dontcha love the "painful periods are normal" explaination....usually male gynos tell ya that...I had an endo biopsy once...while in severe pain DURING my period....cuz the doc was running me through YET ANOTHER round of pelvic pain work ups....HE said it would not hurt....just minor cramping...YUP...he paraded that dang TOOL right in front of my face with my legs in sterups(sp?) helpless...(it looks like a 12 inch long hollow SCREW....did the deed which hurt like MAD....I told him in the heat of all that pain... "bend over doc...let me stick that thing up your rectum (it wasn't this nice word though) and take a sample THEN try telling me it doesn't hurt!" YEAH...i didn't go back to him after that...don't think he wanted me back either!! LOL Sorry YEARS and YEARS of these probs tend to make you a bit nuts!

I had the whole clotting...hemoraging...constipation...back pain...still do have some of it even after the hysterectomy....But it is not as bad as before and not as often. I still wonder what to do about it when it DOES hurt though. The Drs. now are telling me it's basically in my head....don't know how they would know it's nothing else as they have not agreed to do any testing except the bowel tests that were negative.
