Topamax Withdrawal Symptoms

Hi,

A friend of mine is weaning herself off of Topamax, which was prescribed for her because of its mood-stabilizing effects, not for epilepsy. She is withdrawing slowly, according to a specific protocol contained in an e-book written by a physician that came highly recommended on the Depression forum here at Curezone.

Yesterday she experienced a severely racing heart, periods of severe sweating and difficulty breathing which lasted for more than two hours. It sounds to me like this was a panic attack.

Does anyone here have any experience withdrawing from this particular drug and if yes, would a panic attack be one of the typical symptoms of withdrawal? I tried to google my question but couldn't find any definitive answers. Any feedback would be most appreciated.
