My cancer diagnoses...do you think it was because of my IUD?

December 29th 2005, I was diagnosed with stage 1 of Endometrial Cancer. July 7th 2005 I had my Mirena IUD put in. I have had nothing but pain, and CRAZY side effects since it was put in. I have been acting like a complete maniac, and it has caused some very serious problems in my marriage... to the point my husband wants a divorce because of how terrible my mood swings are. I have been on a special treatment for the cancer because I refused to have them remove my uterus at the age of 19. I'm happy to say that I have almost made a full recovery...but I still have the IUD. Does anbody think that the IUD could have played a major role in my cancer? I think it is time to have it removed. Does anybody have any advice on what other type of birth control to get as I come off the Mirena? Any advice would be much appreciated!! Thank you.
