Update on dad :(

Had to take dad to the hospital on Friday with shortness of breath.  They found that he had a pericardial effusion with cardiac tampanod.  They did emergency surgery and drained 1500ml of fluid from around his heart.  He was just out chopping wood a couple of days ago!  He is now in the hospital with a drain tube.  Surgeon said that he would have died within the hour if we wouldn't have caught it.  But on the up side he came through it fine and was up walking today.  He just keeps surprising the docs with his strength and good attitude.  I suspect that this happened due to lymph back-up (his tumors are lymph nodes in the chest and mediastinum).  Any one have any ideas that would help with lymph drainage?
