Air Purifier Question

I want to purchase a Hunter air Purifier, Model Number 30713, which is a Hepa purifier with Ionization - or something along those lines.
I do not know if this is a pure Hepa filter, or hepat-ech - but want to discuss the item.
Is it good?
Is the ionizer bad? I read on airpurifiers.com that some ionizers are bad - but this is all so confusing to me so I wanted to seek some assistance.
