if you order a firewall/router with a built in switch you are set to go. I would recommend any of the linksys firewall/router products. The device will do the DSL login that the software you installed on your toshiba will do. Here is my advice


1: go to bestbuy or compusa or amazon.com and pick up a linksys router that has a built in switch.

2: plug the wired modem into WAN/Internet port on the linksys device.

3: plug both of your computers into the LAN port on the device

4: run the software that came with your linksys.

Both computers will now accss the internet at the same time.

the device runs for about 50-60$.

If you do not want to do all of this yourself, you may want to go to bestbuy if you have one and pay the geeksquad to help you. For probably 150$ total you could have everything up and running.
