Re: ***HELP>!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi StarBrite,

Although I do not dispute the possibility that you are having some type of healing crisis as a result of the supplements that you are taking, another possibility is that you have uterine polyps and/or fibroids that are creating the clots and excessive bleeding. Several years ago a similar thing happened to me and I hemmoraged, ending up in the emergency room and losing half my blood volume. If the blood is bright red...as opposed to the darker red color of menstrual discharge, if you continue to pass clots or if your blood loss has progressed to the point that you are light-headed, dizzy or short of breath you may be in the need of immediate medical attention. I do not mean to scare you, but the uterus is richly supplied with blood vessels (think of what it's function is!) and it is possible for a woman to bleed to death from these conditions.

This would not be endometriosis dissolving as that occurs within the pelvic cavity and elsewhere in the body and would not be discharged through the vagina. In fact, that is one of the reasons endometriosis is so painful and problematic... when the endometriosis cycles it is unable to discharge from the body creating inflammation and adhesions.

Believe me...I am not a fan of allopathic medicine, but there are times when it is necessary. If the bleeding subsides and you're otherwise feeling okay I would watch it closely and consider a trip to a gynecologist. Fibroids and polyps can be diagnosed with the minimally invasive procedure of ultrasound, and there are natural (nutritional and herbal) protocals to specifically address these conditions...although sometimes surgery is necessary to stop the bleeding. I had fibroids and polyps, and have endometriosis, and all of these conditions can create lower abdominal pain. However, the blood clots and excessive bleeding are more indicative of fibroids and polyps. All of these conditions are related to estrogen dominance and certain foods and herbs can be very beneficial at restoring balance to your endocrine system. Natural progesterone cream can also be very helpful...Progest is a good one. Make sure that you are using 100% cotton tampons that have not been bleached. There is some research that suggests a connection between endo/fibroids and dioxin...which is a chemical used in bleaching paper products including feminine hygiene products!

Please feel free to email me directly if I can be of any assistance.

Regards,
Pam
