In May, Robertson said God told him that storms and possibly a tsunami were to crash into America's coastline in 2006. Even though the U.S. was not hit with a tsunami, Robertson on Tuesday cited last spring's heavy rains and flooding in New England as partly fulfilling the prediction.
By the way, folks, the US was in fact hit by a tsunami in 2006, as Robertson predicted -- not a very big one, but enough to count, I think. See here for details.
Robertson is, in his way, a lot like Ezekiel -- more a politician noting trends and extrapolating from there, sometimes getting it right and sometimes not. Not that I can explain the tsunami, but given how frequently tsunamis hit, it was probably only a single digit probability for the year. Funny thing is, he didn't even realize the tsunami happened...
