Identity Crisis, John?

Whether a person is ready at present to accept Jesus as Savior or simply accept scripture as the truth of the Creator, they have to first accept themselves and who they really are (establish their identity,...a single identity). Probably the most common personal problem in the world is the "identity crisis". In scripture, many names have been used for the Creator in order to emphasize certain qualities of His in particular situations, but His name FOREVER (in all situations) is "I am who I am", Exodus 3:14). Since all human beings were made in His image, the only way we can live a fulfilling life is by first knowing and being who we are (a SINGULAR identity).

The movie SYBIL (true story, 16 personalities) began in childhood and was an extreme case and so is BIPOLAR, but I'm not talking about extreme or obvious cases. If you, John, or anybody refuses to have the courage to stand on your own opinions and chooses to hide behind multiple screen names, then you will never be able to become a real person (which is a prerequisite for being a real Christian).

Just as children like to play many games (cowboys, sheriff, etc.), many adults like to play "Christian", so I am not surprised that there are unbelievers that are disgruntled, disenchanted with so-called 'christians', but at least now become a single identity (courage is the first step and the reward is self-acceptance). Some people are afraid to be WHO they are because they don't like who they are (conscience, self-esteem) and some people grew up like SYBIL being taught to dislike WHAT they are (ONE person, man or woman).

"I am who I am" is INTEGRAL. Be integral John, I never thought of you as a troll, only an unbeliever.
