where are there parameters that we (the debaters) should adhere to?
yes one i believe "challenge the message not the messenger".
well what i have been reading on this forum lately even that parameter is very hard to conform with, yet even then common sense prevails doesn't it? and Christian teachings.
john Cullison (i hope he doesn't mind me saying) is a REALIST. controversial he might be. what he says's and thinks does occur,but some answers to john's post shows just how narrow minded some people really are.
i say that for if they are true believer's in God,Jesus,the Bible,Christianity etc. then i cannot understand why all the teaching's that those people have received has not benefited then one iota, instead they have have shown that they are NOT the true Christians they think they are, which in fact only proves John right.
i do not stand here on judgement on you for your bigotry far outweighs your 'beliefs'. if you don't believe that then just read back on this forum.
i apologize to John if i'm out of order for my sentiments for i know that he can stand up for himself, but i am dismayed by some so-called Christians, but then one must ask oneself 'what is a true Christian' anyway? i am still working on that one for if i'm to become one then i must keep searching and not be misguided by those that appear to be Christians for 'convenience' sake.
