Re: A few questions from a newbie
I thought OP whitens teeth but I just read how
OO (Olive-Oil) can make them yellow
Coconut oil was suggested....should I start with that?
what about the swallow reflex?

For a newbie, the best sources of info are found at the top of the forum page under "R." So many have "crossed that bridge" where you now stand and reported their trepidations, experiences, and advice.
Major recommendation is that whatever plant oil you choose, you use cold-pressed, extra virgin oil packaged in a glass bottle.
Originally, OP'ers learned sesame and sunflower were the two oils suggested by Dr. Karach and Lt. Col. Rao. Sunflower is the lighter oil, and people posting here have reported good things for the teeth (teeth whitening, gums stop bleeding, start tightening and growing, toothaches disappearing, etc.), skin (
Acne clearing, "facelifts," soft skin on feet, "chicken skin" cured, etc.), feminine issues clearing, etc.
Although quite a few posts here talk of OO, neither Dr. Karach nor Lt. Col. Rao recommends olive oil. Problems many people have reported about
OO (Olive-Oil) is that it does not "becomes liquid thin and white like wool," even after OP more than 20 minutes.

Personally, I love
OO (Olive-Oil) on salads, and I have used it for my liver flushes. For OP, I think OO's texture is too heavy.
As you already have read, deeper colored OO can stain the teeth. I would recommend you start with a light oil such as sunflower, walnut, or grapeseed. You can start with coconut; however, if you have candida there may be some minor sensations from die-off.
OP with any oil of plant origin to improve your health, yet be aware what Dr. Karach warns, "In the beginning worsening for patients who are suffering from more than one disease, it is possible that there is a worsening of their situation. It is even possible that during the cure one infectious region of the body influences another one, which may be, would have become later even a killing disease. Do not stop when your state gets worse...."
LOL at this, but some people including me find the urge to swallow intensified when OP with coconut oil; the flavor and texture are marvelous.
OP for the full 20 minutes for best results. You will find you may have an urge to swallow; don't let that alarm you. It's natural and normal, but you can block the oil with your tongue. So, yes, "it possible to swallow at the back of the throat while swishing," and "the tongue [will] block stuff from accidentally going down."
