Back when I did it I paid $1600.00, which was cheap for all that was done. The dentist that did it was a teacher at the local university. He kept my before and after study models on his coffee table. He was so proud of himself for what he was able to do. I made payments for a long time. Yes it was very uncomfortable at times. $5000.00 doesen't sound bad to me. It would surley be worth it. Knowing what I know now I would find a way to do it. For a good part of my life I never smiled. I think that now most of the appliances are plastic. Whatever you have to go through, I don't think you will ever regret it.
