Re: Back of my rib cage i feel a little pressure...

Owie!

I was being cautious. I don't know how many flushes you've done or how long you've been on her herbs, but I will be more specific this time.

Julia Chang's herbs help to make the stones fall apart. Sometimes stones are actually collections of smaller stones that stick together - the lumpy ones. I don't know if her herbs would work on the single stones which are older and larger. You would know more about this, and the info is likely in her website.

I have taken GCG in the past, and had mixed results. The first month, I released a lot of small stones and chaff, as expected. The second month, I released fewer small stones and chaff and more larger stones (the largest being 2.0 cm). The first month, I had a much lower number of stones come out and the second time was a record breaker for me. Since the GCG had such an inconsistent result on this particular body, I decided to not use it again until I started releasing some really large stones, at least 3.0 cm, if I have them, or after a few more months of flushing.

The supplements I have used to deal with the feeling of pressure or twinging:

Ultimate Liver Cleanse (Nature's Secret). I've posted this info before, and several other posters said that cleansing herbs should only be used after the biliary tubes are cleared of stones. Otherwise, the toxins released by the cells of the liver have nowhere to go, and will just be reabsorbed and cause trouble. However, I've found that my liver appeared much stronger after taking this supplement, as I've always gotten more stones and larger stones (the largest being 2.5 cm, so far) while using these herbs, and the twinging/pressure feeling rapidly reduces after I take it. After two days, that unpleasant feeling is gone for the most part. Now, that is just my body, and other posters on CZ are not so crazy about cleansing herbs. The herbs it contains: Beet leaf and root, artichoke leaf, dandelion root, milk thistle seed, turmeric, barberry, boldo leaf, fringe tree bark, greater celandine, phyllanthus amarus, picrorhiza kurrida root, schisandra fruit, alfalfa, lecithin, phosphatidylcholine, licorice root, cayenne fruit, and bioperine (which helps with absorption). I take it exactly as suggested on the bottle, 2 caplets a day. Please note that this particular herbal product has received mixed reviews on CZ.

Milk Thistle Extract. I added this, experimentally, and found quick relief of liver pressure/twinging which sometimes occurs after a meat/fatty meal and after every flush. I use it to supplement the first herbal product. The product I use is rated at 600 mg, standardized, and on the side of the bottle they recommend 2 capsules a day. I take one in the morning and take an additional one after a meat/fatty meal if I feel twinging or pressure.

To help out kidney-related back pain, I take a kidney cleanse herb (from Health Plus) which contains Vitamin K, vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, Magnesium, Potassium, and the herbs Short Bunchu leaf, Yellowdock Root, Bearberry, Dandelion, Nettles, Chlorophyll, and Astaxanthin.

I also take beet root extract in capsule form, to aid in bile production. I doubt this would help with pain/pressure/twinges, but I just thought I'd mention it as helpful.

I get all of these online, as I live in Japan and have had some funny but unfortunate experiences while trying to get these kinds of things from the drugstores (the language barrier). So you might find some cheaper/better quality herbs that are more beneficial to you, or react better with your particular body and symptoms.

Anyways, this was an awfully long post, but I hope it answers your questions.

In case you're wondering, I've done 12 flushes so far (maybe not as many as you?) and have liberated about 2,800 stones from my liver. In my case, I think this is a good start.

Let me know if you have any comments...
