Chronic pain & trauma

I have suffered the worst pain on the planet. Don't have a "corner market" on suffering as many millions have suffered to same level. Don't get me wrong. It's just that there is no way that there is any GREATER level of pain. Migraines- the KILLERS- are such an "in your face" trauma.

It did or can do two things: destroy you and your faith or refine your faith.

"I wouldn't take anything in the world for that experience & I wouldn't take a PLUG NICKEL TO REPEAT IT!" seems to apply here.

It just still to this day blows my mind that God in Heaven could or WOULD even ALLOW any one human being to hurt that bad. For THAT long.

So, once you have survived it, and many don't....it does something to you. I absolutely feel like I am suffering from PTDS. Just figured that out, too.

BUT.......at the same time I must remind myself that I no longer suffer the KILLER migraines and should, therefore, BE HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will take time. "Time does NOTHING"-- Dr. Phil. True. But if one USES TIME WELL, then it can be very healing.

I thank God upon every rememberance that I have migraine meds now.

Otherwise, I probably wouldn't be here.

(My point? Hang onto God every nanosecond, if necessary.)
