No, I am not taking hrt of any kind. I am taking Dong Quai and Damiana from Solaray, but still experiencing hot flashes, although they are milder than they used to be. I think hrt just delays the symptoms because you can't be on them for more than 5 years, bhrt might be different. I have read that if you are thin, which I am, menopausal symptoms will be worse because estrogen is stored in fat cells.

I avoid soy of all kinds because not only does it exacerbate candida, but it is difficult for the liver to metabolize because of the nature of the bean.
