Revised Information - Which is the best water filter?

This is a revised update of the water filter research I had posted earlier in this forum. -

DISTILLED WATER ?

I have come to the conclusion that the process of distilling water may not be the best solution. Even prefiltering the water with a carbon block filter will not remove all the toxins, which means, during the distillation process harmful vapours are continuously being released into our homes to breath everytime we distill the water. The end result may be the perfect water, but the process of cleaning the water may be just as harmful, if not more harmful than drinking the water straight from the tap.
It may be on a minute scale, but currently I have not come across any research that measures the cocktail of pollutants already in our air mixed with the vapours of distillation.

REVERSE OSMOSIS

For a while now I have discounted reverse osmosis on a ethical principle because it wastes so much water. Only recently have I asked myself why haven't companies built a reverse osmosis system that stores the waste water so it can be used for something else. I have just discovered a zero waste reverse osmosis. It seems the best choice since it doesn't require electricity as the distillation process does, and puts the water back into the hot water supply. The other option as companies are competing to remain in business against this idea is to use a permeate pump with the reverse osmosis to reduce the waste so its much less. There claim is that the zero waste wears down the membrane. Whether this is true or not, either system seems to be more economical and practical to use.

RE-MINERALISING - RE-ALKALISING USING CLAY

Using clay like terramin or pascalite will remineralise and re-alkalise. Considering these are natural elements that haven't needed to be synthesized as a lot of trace mineral supplements are this seems to be the most healthy solution. After all, minerals come from rocks and clay is derived from volcanic ash.

KILLING BACTERIA / PARASITES
Reverse osmosis may not kill all the bacteria, but the clay will help kill it. And to be extra sure, ozonating has been suggested to be the best current method of killing bacteria and parasites.

Conclusion
1) Clean water - Zero waste reverse osmosis
2) alkalise / remineralize - terramin or pascalite clay

OPTIONAL
3) Ionising
4) ozonating
